Not Just History – This Is Our Story
Over the years, Data Tech has undergone several transformations. Founded in 1994 as a company specializing in the sale of computer peripheral equipment, it was later acquired by the American distribution giant Tech Data. Following the merger, the company became Tech Data’s operational arm in Israel.
In 2003
Tech Data Global acquired the European distribution company AZLAN. As a result of this move, Tech Data Israel launched in 2005 a new business line focused on marketing communication and cybersecurity solutions, joining Cisco Israel’s distribution network.
In 2007
Data Tech was acquired by Rafek Communications & Infrastructure, a leading holding company in the fields of communications, infrastructure, and energy. This significant step led to a full rebranding process, during which the company’s name was changed from Tech Data Israel to Data Tech Advanced Solutions Ltd.
In 2022
Accel Solutions Group acquired the company from Rafek Communications & Infrastructure, recognizing that Data Tech’s operations are highly synergistic with those of the group’s other subsidiaries. In 2023, Data Tech acquired a controlling interest in IVS-TEC, a company specializing in broadcast and multimedia solutions. During 2024, Data Tech signed distribution agreements with Dream VPS, a leading provider of managed cloud services, and with the American communications manufacturer TRENDnet.
